Job description

The PLM Teamcenter Technical Architect supports PLM transformation and implementation initiatives by contributing to solution design, delivery execution, and customer engagement. This role works closely with solution architects, delivery leads, and business consultants to ensure successful Teamcenter-based implementations.

Your Role

  • Contribute to the delivery of PLM transformation and Teamcenter implementation projects
  • Support data migration, system integration, and infrastructure activities
  • Participate in the execution of the Capgemini PLM Delivery Execution framework
  • Assist in assessing customer opportunities by analyzing feasibility, value, and delivery risks
  • Support business consultants in capturing and documenting customer business processes
  • Analyze and challenge existing customer processes to identify improvement and value creation opportunities
  • Contribute to defining solution architecture elements aligned with Teamcenter capabilities and customer objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Capgemini teams to ensure alignment on solution approach and delivery standards
  • Ensure delivered components align with the Statement of Work (SoW) and project scope
  • Provide functional and technical support to junior consultants and project team members
  • Prepare and deliver project documentation, solution designs, and client-facing materials
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders through clear verbal and written communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 12+ years of experience architecting, designing, and delivering Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions for enterprise customers across multiple industries
  • 3+ years of experience serving as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead for Teamcenter PLM implementations, preferably on Teamcenter Unified Architecture
  • Proven expertise in defining end-to-end solution architecture, including: Integration patterns and enterprise system architecture, Cloud and hybrid AWS deployment topologies, CI/CD pipeline design and automation, Large-scale data migration architecture
  • Experience with advanced Teamcenter solutions, including: Supplier Connect, Quality Hub, SWIM, Simulation
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale PLM transformation programs, providing architectural governance and delivery oversight
  • Demonstrated leadership managing and influencing multi-disciplinary teams spanning program management, engineering, services, operations, and logistics
  • Strong functional and technical mastery of core Teamcenter modules, including: My Teamcenter, Workflow Designer, Structure Manager, Report and Query Builder, BOM Management
  • End-to-end experience across the Teamcenter lifecycle: Architecture definition, Installation and administration, Configuration and customization, Interface and integration development, Data migration strategy and execution, Upgrade and modernization initiatives
  • Delivered 5+ enterprise implementations leveraging Teamcenter Unified customization (14.x and above) using: ITK Handlers, Utilities, Extensions
  • Strong hands-on and governance-level experience with Active Workspace configuration and customization
  • Working knowledge of: 4EA (Teamcenter Gateway for Enterprise Applications), Product Configurator, Siemens MBSE, Agile and scaled agile delivery frameworks
  • Advanced programming expertise in C++, Java, and SOA
  • ITK and JavaScript experience considered a strong advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate business objectives into scalable technical architectures

Benefits & conditions

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082 - $193,440/Year

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
