Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a member of a high performing team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.
In this role, you must have demonstrated effective communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational and outside customer interactions. The successful candidate will have experience and or knowledge of the ability to support frequent travel for integration and test activities is required. Ada/C development, Windoiws/Red Hat Linux, and hardware/software integration experience is desired. Experience with Gitlab / JIRA, Cloud Deployment Environment, and working in an Agile environment is desired. Human-Machine interface experience is also desired., Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or other Engineering/Science related discipline
- Experience with programming software languages such as C and/or C++
- Software development in a Windows/Linux based environment
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills:
- Ada/Python Software Development experience
- System test and Hardware/Software Integration experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Containers/Cloud Deployment Environment
- Agile Software Development
- Gitlab experience
- Configuration Management Systems (e.g. Git)
- Agile Process Tools (e.g. Jira)
- Active Secret Clearance Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years, Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
