- Champion technical design excellence by authoring RFCs and design documentation, ensuring seamless alignment between Product and Design teams while navigating complex technical trade-offs.
- Synthesize reusable architectural patterns within a modern Next.js framework, including sophisticated data-fetching strategies, caching protocols, and robust component hierarchies.
- Elevate engineering standards across the organization through rigorous code reviews, technical mentorship, and the promotion of best practices for a growing development team.
- Drive developer productivity by refining internal tooling, CI/CD hygiene, and comprehensive observability suites utilizing modern monitoring platforms.
- Collaborate with backend counterparts to engineer high-performance API contracts that accelerate frontend iteration and enhance system responsiveness.
Requirements
- Elite Web Engineering Expertise: A minimum of 7 years spent building sophisticated, production-grade web applications with a focus on scalability.
- Advanced React Mastery: Deep technical fluency in modern frontend architecture, specifically regarding SSR/SPA hybrid models and the Next.js ecosystem.
- Proven Migration Leadership: A documented history of leading successful rewrites or major platform transitions for high-traffic environments with measurable business impact.
- Strategic Technical Judgment: The ability to navigate ambiguity, transform high-level requirements into executable roadmaps, and manage the full lifecycle of complex deployments.
- Quality-First Mindset: A disciplined approach to automated testing (Playwright), observability, and the delivery of highly maintainable, clean code.
- Technical Mentorship: Strong communication skills and a natural aptitude for raising the collective expertise of an engineering team.
