Job description

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a SQL DBA for a hybrid opportunity in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will serve as a senior-level SQL Database Administrator and developer, supporting enterprise applications through database management, data integration, and application development. Candidate will also ensure data quality, system performance, and reliable data exchange across complex, high-volume environments., * Design, develop, and maintain database solutions and application integrations using SQL Server and .NET technologies

  • Perform data extraction, transformation, analysis, and cleansing to support business and reporting needs
  • Monitor database performance, manage growth, and implement optimization strategies
  • Support and troubleshoot system interfaces, batch processes, and data exchanges with internal and external partners
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to deliver scalable, high-quality technical solutions
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support operational and strategic decision-making

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, * Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.

  • 5+ years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator
  • 5+ years of experience with large-scale system architecture and production environments
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with development tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Visual Studio 2022
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and/or .NET technologies
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience supporting large, complex data systems and integrations
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate work with external development vendors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to data and system performance

Preferred Skills/Experience of the SQL DBA:

  • Experience with government or child support-related systems
  • Experience using Power BI for reporting and data visualization
