Job description

Create reports, scorecards, dashboards, and other tools to drive improved performance within the functions. Serves up reporting for consumption across the organization in a way that informs and drives the organization to insight.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Delivery of Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reports and scorecards on time and accurately
  • Creation of slides for use in the MPR and MBRs
  • Timely delivery of tools to the field
  • User trainings completed, * Develop reports and dashboards with Power BI, Qlik, Web, Excel, and other that satisfy the needs of the functional teams.
  • Support Finance, Legal, Safety, Procurement, Supply Management, Fleet, Field Ops with analytical support as needed.
  • Deliver decision support tools that are clear and intuitive providing actionable information.
  • Implements business logic into the reporting layer, as needed, to create complex reporting.
  • Recommends changes in processes or systems that lead to improved data capture and availability in the data repository.
  • Create and maintain support tools to support field operations, in accordance with RTX Way.
  • leads requirement gathering for new requests and new tools for functional business leaders and executive leaders..
  • Provides production support, troubleshooting, and testing as needed to support the team.
  • Steward data governance practices and rationalize the production environment.
  • Ensure KPIs used in the MPR, MBRs, and MMA are timely and accurate for executive reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the business intelligence space
  • Advanced SQL knowledge preferred
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete simultaneous requests of differing sizes.
  • Ability to train both internal and external customers.
  • Experience with Microsoft and Google Suites
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
  • Expert in PowerBI and Qlik
  • Expert understanding of data structures

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS or Business Analytics.
  • Optional Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS or Business Analytics.

Benefits & conditions

Base Pay Range $85,600 - $111,200 / year

While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
