Job description

Randstad Strategic Accounts is looking for a business professional with a knowledge and proficiency working in the banking industry. We have a role that we are looking to fill for a contract position with a top tier bank in the financial industry. salary: $65 - $75 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

This senior contractor serves as the primary business and data lead for the Enterprise Search platform, operating alongside and in support of the Product Owner. The role owns requirements integrity, data quality, stakeholder alignment, and SDLC execution, ensuring Enterprise Search enhancements are accurate, governed, testable, and audit-ready. This role is expected to operate with senior judgment, independence, and accountability in a regulated credit risk environment.

Core Technical Skills:

  • Highly intensive SQL analysis across multiple database environments: Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, and transitioning to Data Private Cloud (Google/GCP via Dremio interface)
  • Data lineage, sourcing, and remediation expertise
  • Query tools: Aqua Data, Teradata SQL Assistant (no longer using Toad)
  • Agile/Scrum methodology with Jira experience

Business Context:

  • Financial services background required (not necessarily credit risk specific, but understanding of loan data and data movement)
  • Stakeholder-facing role: soliciting requirements, enhancements, and issues
  • Full SDLC participation including functional, regression, and UAT testing

Seniority:

  • Senior/lead level capable of running independently with minimal direction
  • Must operate with 80% information and fill gaps autonomously
