Job description

The part-time Database Manager at BB360 will maintain and manage the Bloomerang database, ensuring accurate donation recording, generating reports, and preparing donor communications. This role supports the integrity and effectiveness of data management and aids in strategic decision-making and fundraising efforts. BB360 (formerly known as B'nai B'rith camp) is a dynamic organization committed to fostering personal growth, community building, and positive impact. As a leader in the field of Jewish Overnight and Day Camps and year-round engagement, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as our new Database Manager. This role is ideal for an entry-to-mid-level professional, presenting a unique opportunity for someone eager to contribute to our organization's mission while gaining valuable experience in the development and non-profit sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proficient in donor databases (experience with Bloomerang a plus).
  • At least 2 years of experience in Jewish camping, equivalent work experience, or similar non-profit work preferred.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to independently carry out assigned tasks, demonstrating good time management and personal motivation.
  • Must be able to prioritize workload and respond appropriately to change.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing using the English language.
  • Interacts in a respectful, friendly, and supportive manner with donors, staff, board members and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage change.
  • Familiarity and comfort with Jewish values and traditions.
