The F-35 Core Processing Software (CPSW) Development Team is looking to expand the support of production test activities (CSCI Test Team). This position is primarily for Software Test Engineering.
The candidate must have the ability to analyze requirements and create safety critical test cases from those requirements to ensure the proper behavior of the air vehicle.
The candidate will perform software quality testing and will be responsible for producing engineering documentation about the test activity. This will include creating Software Quality Test Report Summaries and Software Problem Anomaly Reports for internal and external stake holders.
Requirements
The candidate shall have the ability to perform root cause analysis for failing test cases and then effectively communicate the findings to the CPSW development team for resolution.
The candidate must be process oriented and have a great eye for detail as the CPSW software must adhere to the Software Evidence Assurance Level 1 process (SEAL1).
This position will also provide the opportunity to develop automation utilities applications to improve test quality and efficiency. In this role, the candidate should be proficient developing C++ software, creating swat scripts, and perform unit testing., Experience with C++, Python, GitLab
Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline from an accredited college/university
Must be a US citizen. Candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Desired Skills: Familiar with Object oriented design patterns Experience with Test Driven Development CICD Pipelines, Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
