The Internet and consequently the Internet of Things were built without a trust layer. Decentralized Digital Identities as basis for Connected Mobility may be one of the needed missing components to implement real data sovereignty and a trusted Economy of Things in future Connected Vehicles scenarios. We are working towards a decentralized highly connected Automotive Ecosystem with new development paradigms like Smart Contracts, Economic Agents and Decentralized Data Marketplaces…

Introduction to modern web3 developer utilities: Hardhat, Solidity and Ethers.js. This talk will cover the mechanisms of smart contract interactions, security, best practices and a bit of blockchain theory. Part of the session will be reserved for demonstrating practical use of smart contracts by developing a simple customized token collection and deploying it to one of the Ethereum testnets. We will also analyze transaction and block elements with the help of the Ethereum explorer. Since this will mostly be a practical session, viewers are invited to ask questions at any time during the call.
After learning about blockchain and wanting to dive deeper into it, I joined a Croatian blockchain company as a R&D developer. That's when my adventure with EVM, Solidity, NodeJS and React began. I soon started working with a European company developing a blockchain tennis game where I learned more about synchronizing on-chain and off-chain data and problems that come with it. Wanting to build something of my own, I founded a Web3 company called Berry Block with my friends. We worked with multiple international clients and currently our focus is on finalizing our in-house product.
This conference session aims to explore the potential benefits of Decentraland for Africa. Decentraland is a virtual world that is powered by a cryptocurrency called MANA, which can be used to buy and sell virtual goods and services. The session will examine how Decentraland can be used to promote economic development, improve access to education and job training, foster social and economic connections, and provide a platform for innovation and experimentation. Attendees will learn about the technology behind Decentraland and how it can be used to create immersive virtual experiences. Additionally, we will cover the current state of the Decentraland ecosystem and its future potential as a leading platform for decentralized virtual reality.
