Job description

We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Developer for a contract engagement to design, build, and support Workday Extend solutions and integrations. This role will focus on hands-on development and delivery, working closely with business stakeholders through the full SDLC.

Responsibility

Design, develop, and enhance Workday Extend applications to meet defined business requirements
Build, support, and troubleshoot integrations using Workday Studio, APIs, EIB, XML, and XSLT
Develop and maintain Workday Reports supporting operational and business use cases
Participate in end-to-end SDLC activities, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Work directly with end users and business teams to clarify requirements and deliver solutions efficiently
Follow Workday best practices for security, performance, and maintainability
Provide production support, issue resolution, and documentation during the contract term

Requirements

Do you have experience in XSLT?, * 8 years of hands-on experience with Workday Extend development

Strong experience with:
Workday Studio
Workday Reports
EIB
APIs
XML and XSLT
RaaS
Solid understanding of Workday integration architecture and enterprise systems
Experience delivering solutions in an SDLC-based or Agile environment
Proven ability to collaborate with business users and technical teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Software development experience using Python, Java or C#
Experience with Workday Orchestrate
Prior experience supporting production Workday environments
Familiarity with enterprise security and data governance standards

Engagement Details

Focused on hands-on delivery and execution
Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up
Strong communication and documentation skills required
