As a Technical Assistance Center Agent, you’ll be the go-to expert for dealership technicians, providing critical warranty approvals and technical guidance on engine repairs. This role blends hands-on automotive knowledge with data-driven analysis, giving you the opportunity to impact service quality and efficiency across a leading automotive network. Pay and Schedule Hourly Pay: $34.71 Schedule: Flexible leave coverage with potential for long-term contract, * Provide warranty approvals for engine repairs to dealership technicians
- Record, track, and manage technical inquiries in the Technical Assistance Database
- Investigate and analyze vehicle specifications and system operations to resolve inquiries and validate service publications
- Prepare trend analysis and technical reports from the database
- Offer technical assistance to parts department hotline and technical personnel
- Collaborate with dealership teams to ensure consistent application of service procedures
Requirements
Do you have experience in Working in the automotive repair industry?, * 5+ years of experience as an automobile service technician
- Dealership technician experience required
- Two-year technical degree in vocational/automotive technology or equivalent experience preferred
- Multiple ASE certifications desired; Master ASE certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical systems and OBD II emission systems
- Proficiency in computer word processing and database programs
