Job description

We are seeking a skilled E-commerce Website Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performing online stores. The ideal candidate will have experience building user-friendly, secure, and scalable e-commerce platforms.

This role is vital in enhancing our online presence and supporting our growth in the woodworking industry. Based in the GB, you will contribute your expertise to develop and maintain our e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers., * Develop and maintain e-commerce websites using platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom frameworks

  • Design responsive, mobile-friendly, and visually appealing web interfaces
  • Integrate payment gateways, shipping APIs, and third-party tools
  • Optimize website performance, speed, responsiveness and SEO
  • Implement secure checkout systems and ensure data protection compliance
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams
  • Troubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issues
  • Manage inventory systems and product catalog updates
  • Monitor website analytics and suggest improvements to boost conversions
  • Implement best practices for web security and data protection.
  • Monitor website analytics to improve user experience.
  • Stay updated with emerging web development trends relevant to e-commerce.
  • Develop, test, and deploy user-friendly e-commerce websites tailored to our industry needs.

Requirements

Do you have experience in PHP?, * Proven experience as a web developer focused on e-commerce platforms

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Backend languages (e.g., PHP, Python, or Node.js)
  • Shopify / WooCommerce / Magento
  • Proven experience in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular or similar frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of web development tools such as Git, Jenkins, and AWS.
  • Experience with database management including MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
  • Payment systems (PayPal, Stripe, etc.)
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Preferred: Experience in UI/UX design and responsive web design.
