Job description
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start or develop your career in IT infrastructure, working with modern Microsoft technologies while being supported by experienced engineers.
In this hands-on role, you’ll build your technical skills while helping to support and improve the infrastructure that underpins critical business systems. You’ll gain exposure to real-world environments, learn how issues are prioritised and resolved, and play a key part in keeping systems running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting and maintaining server infrastructure that underpins critical business systems
- Assisting with Infrastructure team tickets and learning how to resolve issues effectively
- Supporting the Microsoft estate, including Active Directory, Office 365 and Exchange
- Helping with Intune package deployment and maintenance
- Investigating and resolving tickets escalated from the Desktop team
- Monitoring system alerts and escalating issues where required
- Supporting software rollouts, server maintenance and routine infrastructure activities
- Attending team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement discussions
- Assisting with disaster recovery testing and documentation
Requirements
Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * A genuine interest in IT infrastructure and Microsoft technologies
- Strong communication skills, with a friendly and proactive approach
- Organised, motivated and eager to learn and develop
- Ability to follow processes and produce clear documentation
- Some exposure to Microsoft technologies, virtualisation or IT support environments
- A flexible, positive attitude with the ability to adapt in a changing environment
- Willingness to occasionally travel to other sites if required
