Job description
A local tech company is seeking a Help Desk worker to join their team and help with the day-to-day duties of the IT department. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving support tickets, troubleshooting devices, and running diagnostics. In this hybrid position, you will work once a week in the office and the remaining days at home., * Maintain business server and network systems.
- Investigate and troubleshoot computer software and hardware issues.
- Perform remote troubleshooting and dispatch on incoming support requests.
- Provide application software testing for desktop applications.
- Perform deployments and diagnostics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of previous IT experience and strong problem-solving skills., * Associate or bachelorās degree in computer science or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of performing technical support in an IT environment.
- CompTIA, Microsoft, VMware, Citrix or Cisco technical certification is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in Windows Server environments and Citrix and Terminal Server environments.
- Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, applications, networking, computer desktop hardware, and local/network printing.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check.
