Job description

Insight Global is hiring a level four data analyst for the people domain activation project for one of their largest clients in the financial industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enabling the people domain to successfully transition into the enterprise Data-as-a-Product operating model. The analyst will partner with Domain Owners, Stewards, Data Engineering, and cross-functional business teams to define domain scope, document data assets, elicit requirements, ensure metadata and quality standards are met, and support the build-out of People-related data products.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of HR and People data, processes and architecture.
  • Knowledge of PI and PHI handling
  • Exposure to DM&G standards and enterprise operating models
  • Strong experience in data analysis tooling and languages- SQL. Excel, Python
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview- including data catalog and lineage capabilities.

  • Experience in the HR domain or insurance industry.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based data lake/hub concepts and database management systems.

Experience working in Agile or cross-functional teams.
