Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of Infrastructure, Cloud, or Platform Engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), especially Compute Engine (GCE)
  • Linux systems administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE)
  • VMware administration (vSphere/vCenter); HCX migration experience is a plus
  • Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
  • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (preferred) or similar tools
  • Automation experience using Ansible, scripting, or similar technologies
  • Experience leading infrastructure migrations and server provisioning
  • Strong understanding of compute, storage, networking, and virtualization
  • Experience with production support, platform stability, and root cause analysis (RCA) *

Nice-to-Have

  • IBM Power Systems (PowerVM)
  • AIX administration
  • Multi-cloud experience (AWS/Azure)
  • DevOps, CI/CD, and automation-first engineering practices
  • Cloud or Linux certifications (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, RHCSA/RHCE)
