Job description
The fundamental goal of Product Operations is to ensure we build the right products to move our business forward globally, have the right go-to-market strategy, and ensure our business and product teams have clear, shared goals. Product Operations works closely with cross-functional partners across tech and operations to surface needs, prioritize opportunities, test, roll out, and iterate on products.
You’ll partner with leaders across Product, Operations, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and more - aligning strategy, execution, and measurement so we can scale our growing Offers platform. This is a high-visibility role where your work will help shape how offers are created, managed, and redeemed by restaurants and users around the world.
This role will sit within our Offers Marketing Optimization team, helping to launch and scale new offers products in a fast-paced, rapidly growing business within Uber.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Data Science, Design, and other cross-functional stakeholders to launch and scale Offers platform and tooling products.
- Help define go-to-market plans and operational processes to support the Offers product strategy.
- Develop end-to-end product rollout plans and project-manage implementation across teams and markets.
- Ensure functional partners are aligned on key objectives, launch plans, risks, and success metrics for the program or product.
- Advise product teams on the global feasibility and operational readiness of products throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Legal, Tax, Policy, Support, and regional teams, to prepare Offers products for launch.
- Track core business and product metrics related to Offers performance, adoption, and operational efficiency.
- Identify key problem areas, user pain points, and geographies impacted by product launches post-launch.
- Surface and advocate for key insights from business teams, users, and markets to inform product improvements.
- Maintain regular communication with key team members across the organization.
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive meaningful business impact.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in operations, business consulting, finance, program management, product operations, or a similar analytical role., * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Deep understanding of user experience and the ability to translate user, business, and operational needs into product insights.
- Ability to leverage data to inform and support critical decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring cross-functional partners together around shared goals.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to learn, grow, and solve complex problems.
- Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork.
- Effective prioritization skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Basic SQL knowledge, including the ability to write and understand simple SQL queries.
- Technical aptitude and comfort working with engineers and understanding technical systems, including algorithms.
- Prior experience working on global projects or in an international setting.
- Prior experience working with marketing technology platforms, digital marketing, offers, promotions, growth, or marketplace products.
- User or market research experience.
- Economics, finance, data analytics, or other quantitative experience.
- Proven project management experience across large, complex projects.
- SQL proficiency.
