Job description
Arcosa Construction Products Group is seeking a dependable Field IT Support Technician based out of our Tinton Falls, NJ regional office to provide hands-on technical support across our Quarry, Asphalt, and Recycling plant locations. This role supports day-to-day IT operations in industrial and outdoor environments, ensuring reliable technology that enables safe and efficient plant operations.
Day to Day
- Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations while working in active aggregate, recycling, and asphalt plant environments
- Provide onsite IT support for PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and basic network equipment at plant and field locations
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues following established IT standards and procedures
- Support plant-critical systems including scale and loadout systems, rugged tablets, GPS units, Zebra printers, and other operational technology used in aggregates, recycling, and asphalt production
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wired and wireless networks, including CAT6 cabling in industrial settings
- Respond to and manage Service Desk tickets in ServiceNow, documenting resolutions and escalating complex issues as needed
- Track, manage, and maintain IT assets across assigned aggregate, recycling, and asphalt plant locations
- Assist plant personnel with basic IT training and cybersecurity best practices
- Work safely in outdoor, dusty, and heavy-industrial environments while supporting safety-related and operational technology, The above statements describe the general nature and responsibilities of the position. Requirements
- 2-4 years of IT support experience, preferably in field or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar)
- Comfort working independently and traveling up to 75%
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work in outdoor, dusty, and industrial environments
Preferred
- Associate degree or CompTIA A+ / Network+
- Experience with VOIP phones, IP cameras/NVRs, Zebra printers, and Apple iOS devices
- Background supporting manufacturing, construction, or industrial operations
