Junior IT Support Technician

· Providing first line support for hardware, software and network issues

· Assisting with setting up user accounts, workstations and access permissions

· Supporting the maintenance of IT systems, cloud services and infrastructure

· Configuring laptops, desktops and mobile devices

· Assisting with software installations and upgrades

· Supporting IT security initiatives and cyber security best practices

· Helping with IT projects, system upgrades and new technology implementations

· Assisting with the rollout and development of AI platforms and technologies

· Delivering basic user training and supporting new starters

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior IT Assistant to join a well established professional services business in the heart of Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in IT who is eager to build a career in technical support and infrastructure., · A genuine passion for IT and technology

· A basic understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows and troubleshooting concepts

· Strong communication skills and the confidence to support non-technical users

· A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

· Good organisational skills and attention to detail

· An IT qualification or studies towards one would be an advantage

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (35 hours per week) some flexibility on start and finish times is available with the core hours being 9:30am - 4:30pm
