MarTech Data Engineering Lead

As MarTech Data Engineering Lead, you will own the data engineering and integration strategy that underpins an entirely new MarTech platform. You’ll sit at the heart of the organisation - bridging business users, data analysts, data scientists, and architecture - translating complex use cases into concrete solutions for engineering teams to build and scale.

You’ll design integrations across the full marketing ecosystem: CDPs, CRM, Marketing Automation, Consent Management, and Customer Engagement platforms, all running on Google Cloud Platform. This is a senior leadership role with real ownership: you’ll challenge vendors, review technical designs, and set the standard for how customer data is modelled, governed, and activated at scale.

Based in the Netherlands, you’ll be part of a large international environment with the scale and ambition to match.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), including identity resolution, profile unification, and audience strategy
• Strong data engineering background with experience designing scalable, event-driven integration architectures
• Solid knowledge of data modelling, data governance, data quality frameworks, and API-based integrations
• Experience integrating CDPs with CRM, Marketing Automation, Analytics, Consent Management, and Customer Engagement platforms
• Proven track record leading engineering teams and translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Google GCP
• Excellent communicator, equally comfortable with engineers, business stakeholders, and external vendors
• Experienced in Agile ways of working within complex international environments
