Are you in?, * Shape the future: You’ll support in the electrical, electro-acoustical and optical measurements of MEMS sensor chips and packaged devices

  • Take responsibility: Conduct optical inspection of MEMS sensor chips and packages and you’ll be involved in the development of test/characterization setups
  • Identify needs: Carry out performance and reliability evaluations of chip-level and packaged MEMS sensors
  • Documenting results: Create reports and documentations of the respective results, including their analyses
  • Performance: You have the chance to work with Infineon’s MEMS experts, to do Bachelor/Master thesis in the group, and to be involved in R&D collaborations with external project partners and universities, * Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
  • You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.

Requirements

  • Study field: You are currently studying Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or similar field of study
  • Experience: You have already gained practical laboratory experience (experience in acoustic setup, microscopy, and electrical measurement is a plus)
  • Skills: You are experienced working with tools for data processing, analysis, and graphing or are eager to learn them
  • Personality: You have the ability to analyze and solve problems systematically and have great affinity for technical R&D topics. Strong interest to understand the physical phenomena from the measurement results would be a great benefit
  • Way of working: You work proactively and are a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Language skills: You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken. German is a plus
