Senior Technical Lead

We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead to oversee and support a network systems contract in Missoula. This person will be the main point of contact and will handle a mix of project management, budgeting, and advanced network support.

This role is mostly onsite and requires availability for after-hours or emergency support when needed.

What You’ll Do

• Act as the main contact for the contract and help oversee any team members

• Advise leadership on technology plans and improvements

• Estimate costs and help plan purchases for new systems or upgrades

• Support security and compliance work (including ATO and POA&M requirements)

• Handle advanced (Tier 3) network troubleshooting and design

• Provide day-to-day network support and assist during urgent issues

• Strong background in IT project management and network engineering

• Ability to make decisions independently and communicate risks early

• Comfortable being the lead technical expert on a project

Preferred Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Field Technician

• CompTIA Security+

• CompTIA Network+

Requirement:

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a USDA LincPass (government ID badge)
