Application Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Application Support Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience supporting Oracle RightNow Cloud Service along with solid expertise in PHP development and SQL Server backend systems., * Provide end-to-end production support for applications built on Oracle RightNow, PHP, and SQL Server.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, defects, and performance problems within defined SLAs.
• Perform enhancements, patching, upgrades, and security remediation activities.
• Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release management.
• Monitor application performance and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
• Manage and resolve incident, service, and enhancement tickets in a timely manner., The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience supporting Oracle RightNow Cloud Service (must-have).
• Strong experience with PHP application development/support.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server databases (queries, troubleshooting, performance tuning).
• Experience in application support, production troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of .NET technologies
• Exposure to AI/automation tools for support optimization

Rate Range: $52/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors., Pay Details: $52.00 to $55.00 per hour
