Job description

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s largest small business advocacy organization, is looking to hire a Sr. HRIS Analyst to join it’s Nasvhille, TN based HR Team. HR Process Ownership & Optimization (Primary Focus)

  • Support and continuously improve HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, job and pay changes, timekeeping, benefits administration, and offboarding.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance risks; recommend and implement improvements.

Data Management, Reporting & Analytics (Expanded Technical Focus)

  • Configure and maintain UKG Pro and WFM functionality to accurately reflect approved HR and workforce processes.
  • Design, build, validate, and maintain standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards supporting HR operations, Total Rewards, Payroll, and leadership.
  • Support compliance, regulatory, and audit reporting (e.g., EEO, ACA, payroll/time audits) with accurate and well-documented data.

Benefits Process & System Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Support HR benefits processes including enrollments, qualifying life events, eligibility reviews, and open enrollment.
  • Provide benefits-related data analysis, reporting, audits, and reconciliation support.
  • Support benefits-related reporting and carrier data validation.

Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; work outcomes must meet and / or exceed productivity and quality standards. Must be able to work as part of a cooperative team environment independent of direct supervision; adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures. Performs other projects as needed. Hybrid position - 4 days a week in office during training then Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office once training is completed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, or a data-heavy HR role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR data, reporting, audits, and metrics using Cognos Analytics, Power BI and advanced Excel
  • Heavy experience in UKG Pro, UKG WFM, and Cognos Analytics
