IT System Analyst

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting enterprise business systems, with a focus on Oracle Financials, Oracle E-Business Suite, and related applications. This position works with business users and IT staff to gather requirements, document processes, support system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and assist with system and integration projects.

Essential Functions

(Duties may not include all duties listed below, nor do the examples cover all the duties which may be performed.)

1. Gathers and documents business requirements, workflows, and system needs from users and stakeholders.

2. Supports Oracle Financials, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle APEX, and related enterprise applications.

3. Assists with system enhancements, integrations, testing, reporting, and process improvements.

4. Works with business users and technical staff to translate business needs into system solutions.

5. Troubleshoots system issues and coordinates resolution with internal teams, vendors, or other support resources.

6. Develops and maintains documentation related to business processes, system configurations, testing, and user procedures.

7. Supports finance, supply chain, and other business areas with ERP-related initiatives and projects.

Bachelor’s degree

Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Systems, or related field

Experience

2 years

Oracle E-Business Suite, ERP systems, business systems analysis, process documentation, or related experience

Substitutions allowed for Education: Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis beyond the required experience.

Substitutions allowed for Experience: Indicated experience is required; no substitutions allowed.

Minimum Required Knowledge:

Working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or similar ERP system.

Experience gathering and documenting business processes and system requirements.

Ability to troubleshoot business system issues and support system enhancements.

Ability to work both independently and with a team.

Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Knowledge of finance, accounting, supply chain, logistics, or related business processes.

Certification or Licensure Requirements

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to obtain TWIC.

Physical Requirements/ADA

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasionally requires standing and lifting up to 25 pounds.
