Job description

  • Design and develop electronic hardware for automotive products throughout the complete product development lifecycle.
  • Design and validate digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Develop hardware architecture, perform board bring-up, testing, debugging, and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Select electronic components, optimize BOM costs, and support PCB fabrication and assembly.
  • Prepare schematics using Altium Designer or Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
  • Perform hardware integration, system validation, EMI/EMC compliance testing, and reliability analysis.
  • Work with communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and LIN.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and qualification.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer with expertise in automotive electronics and complete product development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electronic hardware design, Battery Management Systems (BMS), PCB design, board bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation. Strong knowledge of Altium or Mentor Graphics, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART), and EMI/EMC compliance is required., * Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong experience in electronic hardware design and product development.
  • Hands-on experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS), microcontrollers, high-speed processors, DC-DC converters, LDOs, inverters, and power semiconductor devices.
  • Experience with schematic design using Altium Designer or Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB design guidelines, board bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation.
  • Experience with EMI/EMC testing, hardware qualification, and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and LIN.
  • Experience using lab instruments such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes (CRO), Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Function Generators.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PSpice, LTspice, or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, HDMI, and SATA.
  • Experience with DFMEA, WCCA, reliability analysis, and electro-mechanical design.
  • Automotive electronics product development experience is highly preferred.
