Job description
- Supporting the design and implementation of data pipelines to ensure reliable data flow
- Conducting data quality analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Aligning data outputs with business objectives and pipeline requirements
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand data needs and communicate insights
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of data solutions
- Supporting financial analysis where relevant to the business context
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven outcomes
Requirements
- Proven experience in data requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
- Working knowledge of data pipeline design and implementation
- Competency in data quality analysis and validation
- Strong SQL and database knowledge
- Proficiency with analytics and visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) or familiarity with modern data stack tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills to bridge business and technical teams
Nice-to-have experience could include:
- Exposure to Python, Bash or other scripting languages
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices or containerisation tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of microservices architecture or distributed systems
- Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code concepts
- SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE environment experience
- BPMN or UML modelling experience
- Excel expertise for financial analysis or data exploration
Benefits & conditions
- Type: Contract · Full-time
- Day Rate: £250-£400 per day, dependent on experience and skills
