Job description
- Gathering and clarifying data requirements from business stakeholders
- Analysing data quality issues and implementing solutions to improve accuracy and consistency
- Supporting the alignment of data pipelines to ensure reliable data flow
- Conducting financial and operational analysis to support decision-making
- Engaging with stakeholders to communicate findings and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Documenting data processes, assumptions and quality metrics
- Collaborating with technical teams to optimise data workflows and performance, Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role:

Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in data analysis, data quality assurance or related analytical roles
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Excel
- Experience working with data pipelines and understanding data requirements gathering
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Familiarity with financial or operational analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, data science, business analytics or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have experience could include Python scripting, Azure or AWS cloud platforms, or exposure to SAP systems.
