Job description

  • Designing and building automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines using modern tools and cloud platforms
  • Developing test automation for microservices, APIs and distributed systems, ensuring reliability and performance
  • Writing clean, maintainable test code in languages such as Java, Python or other relevant stacks
  • Collaborating with development teams to embed quality early in the development process
  • Implementing data quality checks and validation for complex data pipelines where relevant
  • Contributing to test strategy, coverage improvement and defect prevention across delivery teams

Requirements

  • Day Rate: £550-600 per day (or £250-280 per day depending on experience and engagement structure)
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Domain: Software quality automation, test engineering, QA automation, * Strong experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end)
  • Solid programming skills in Java, Python or similar languages, applied to test automation
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
  • Working knowledge of APIs, microservices and distributed systems testing
  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code concepts
  • SQL and relational database knowledge for test data management and validation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Right to work in the UK

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, RISE) or enterprise platforms
  • Data pipeline testing and data quality validation
  • Test automation for cloud-native or serverless architectures
  • Knowledge of BPMN, UML or other design methodologies
  • Experience with Terraform, Linux/Windows scripting (Bash), or infrastructure testing
  • Exposure to Power BI or analytics platforms for test reporting
