Job description
Evanhoe is seeking an Application Systems Analyst who is an IT professional responsible for supporting the analysis, implementation, maintenance, testing, and enhancement of enterprise business applications. Working under the guidance of senior analysts and technical leads, the Application Systems Analyst I assists in evaluating business requirements, troubleshooting application issues, documenting system processes, and supporting application lifecycle activities. Primary Responsibilities:
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Provide first-level technical support for enterprise business applications.
- Monitor application performance and assist in identifying and resolving system issues.
- Troubleshoot application errors, user access issues, and system functionality problems.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior analysts or development teams as appropriate.
- Support application upgrades, patches, and system maintenance activities.
- Assist with application configuration and system administration tasks.
- Respond to user inquiries regarding application functionality.
- Provide technical guidance and basic user training.
Requirements
Certifications: DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT Level II) Certification required. Required Education: Highschool Diploma/GED Required Experience: 2 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, business systems, or information technology., * Basic understanding of systems analysis and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working in a Help Desk, IT Support, or Application Support environment.
