As a Systems Engineer, you will serve as a key technical resource, providing hands-on support for our infrastructure, systems, cloud environment, Microsoft 365 platform, and end users. Partnering closely with leadership, vendors, and internal departments, you will help ensure secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations while driving technology initiatives that support our employees and enhance the services we provide.
About the Position
- Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, permissions, and email services.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers, and other IT equipment.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding by provisioning and securing technology resources.
- Monitor, maintain, and document IT systems, network infrastructure, and technology assets.
- Coordinate with managed service providers and technology vendors to resolve complex issues and support ongoing projects.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including MFA, endpoint protection, encryption, and access controls.
- Partner with HR, Compliance, and Operations to support HIPAA compliance, security initiatives, and technology improvements.
- Provide user training, technical guidance, and documentation to support employees across the organization.
- Assist with IT planning, budgeting, hardware refreshes, and future technology initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in desktop support, systems administration, or network administration.
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft environments, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Working knowledge of virtualization, backups, firewalls, cloud services, and endpoint security.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while providing exceptional customer service.
- Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field strongly preferred. Relevant certifications are a plus.
