Job description
The Senior Deployment Solutions Engineer leads large-scale, complex telecommunications and IT infrastructure deployment programs across the network. This role owns end-to-end program delivery for 2 4 concurrent initiatives spanning network, hardware, and platform rollouts - with direct accountability for budget, schedule, risk, and service impact. The Senior Deployment Solutions Engineer serves as the senior technical owner within the program, partnering with engineering, operations, and vendor organizations to drive scalable, compliant, and reliable deployments aligned to business and growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Program Ownership & End-to-End Delivery Lead all phases of deployment program delivery - planning, vendor management, installation, testing, and production release - for 2 4 large, complex initiatives simultaneously. Own program scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring delivery targets are met while managing trade-offs across competing priorities. Establish and enforce program governance including milestone gates, readiness reviews, change control processes, and executive reporting cadences. Technical Leadership & Architecture Alignment Serve as the senior technical authority on deployment programs, providing guidance on network and hardware implementation strategies, sequencing, and risk mitigation. Partner with engineering and architecture teams to validate that deployment designs are technically sound, operationally feasible, and aligned to company standards. Review and approve MOPs, site-level deployment packages, and configuration documentation prior to field execution. Drive resolution of complex technical issues that arise during deployment windows, engaging Tier-3 SMEs or engineering leads as appropriate. Vendor & Partner Management Lead vendor relationships across equipment suppliers, field service providers, and subcontractors - managing performance, contract adherence, and delivery commitments. Conduct vendor coordination meetings, escalate contractual or performance gaps, and ensure field teams are equipped, qualified, and aligned to program requirements. Negotiate scope adjustments and change orders with vendors in coordination with program leadership and procurement. Risk, Budget & Schedule Accountability Own the program risk register, identifying, quantifying, and actively mitigating risks that could affect service continuity, budget integrity, or delivery timelines. Track program spend against approved budgets, flagging variances and providing recommendations for corrective action. Develop and maintain integrated master schedules reflecting all workstreams, dependencies, and critical path activities across concurrent programs. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Serve as the primary program interface for stakeholders, providing regular status updates, escalation management, and executive-level briefings. Facilitate cross-functional alignment sessions across engineering, operations, field, and vendor teams to resolve conflicts and maintain delivery momentum. Prepare and present program health dashboards, risk summaries, and milestone reports for internal and client-facing audiences. Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Ensure all deployments meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and network compliance criteria throughout the program lifecycle. Lead post-deployment retrospectives and drive incorporation of lessons learned into future program planning and execution frameworks. Mentor Deployment Solutions Engineers and support the development of program management standards and best practices across the team.
