Job description
Working as part of our Metering team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our operational data is accurate, customer queries are resolved efficiently and industry processes are completed on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating meter installations, exchanges and removals.
- Managing operational data and ensuring records remain accurate across multiple systems.
- Investigating and resolving data discrepancies, meter reading exceptions and customer queries.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
- Using Excel to analyse data, identify trends and support operational decision making.
- Processing industry data and ensuring key deadlines are met.
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
You’ll be naturally organised, enjoy solving problems and take pride in getting the details right. You’ll be comfortable working with data, communicating with a range of stakeholders and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and working with large datasets.
- Experience in a customer service, operations, administration or data-focused role.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to investigating issues.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing deadlines.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
