Technical Application Engineer

As a Technical Application Engineer your duties will be as follows:

• Provide pre- and post-sale technical support for company products
• Support distributors, customers, and sales teams with product selection, troubleshooting and application advice
• Respond to technical enquiries
• Work in partnership with the sales team to convert new business
• Assist with preparation of technical proposals, quotes and submissions
• Monitor industry trends, ensuring you’re knowledgeable on competitor activity, pricing changes and product developments
• Support with the creation and review of technical documentation, case studies, product literature and application guides

As a Technical Application Engineer, you will have the following skills and experience:

• HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
• Understand electrical and industrial systems and applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Able to travel to Ivybridge Monday to Friday
• Strong problem-solving skills
