Software Engineer (Hybrid, NYC, NY area) W2 Only

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Extensive experience with Python in building and maintaining scalable libraries and platforms

Strong knowledge of Linux, scripting, and automation (Java or Groovy a plus)

Proven expertise in developing and operating cloud-native systems on AWS, including experience with services like SageMaker (Azure or GCP exposure is beneficial)

Solid DevOps skills including Jenkins, Docker, Git workflows, and containerized deployment strategies

Infrastructure-as-Code experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, or equivalent tools

Hands-on experience with ML system deployment, inference, monitoring, and operational reliability

Deep understanding of distributed systems, high-throughput workloads, and fault-tolerant architectures

Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize system performance

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset in cross-functional teams

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with Java/Groovy

Prior exposure to ML concepts, data pipelines, and diverse data types

Knowledge of automated diagnostics and model observability tools

Familiarity with emerging technologies related to AI/ML platforms

Preferred Education and Experience:

5+ years building Python-based cloud applications or platforms in a production environment

Prior experience supporting business-critical, scalable systems
