Job description

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), data centers, and cloud-based environments such as AWS and Azure.
  • Configure and troubleshoot advanced networking equipment such as Cisco routers, Cisco ASA firewalls, Meraki devices, Juniper equipment, and other enterprise-grade hardware.
  • Implement and manage secure VPN configurations using IPsec, SSL/TLS protocols, and VPN management tools to facilitate remote access while maintaining robust security standards.
  • Oversee network security measures including IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), vulnerability assessments, firewall policies, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), and encryption techniques.
  • Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, and SolarWinds to identify bottlenecks or vulnerabilities; perform capacity planning for high availability and load balancing solutions.
  • Conduct system design activities integrating virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and cloud services like AWS; ensure optimal network integration with virtualized environments.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment issues involving Cisco ASA firewalls, Meraki devices, openSUSE or Debian Linux servers, and other IT infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network installation projects, system upgrades, scripting (Python, Bash), automation (Ansible), and DevOps practices to streamline operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, policies, and procedures aligned with ITIL standards; support disaster recovery planning and high availability configurations.

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of complex network infrastructures. This pivotal role involves ensuring the stability, security, and high availability of enterprise network systems across diverse environments. As a key player in our IT team, you will leverage your extensive expertise in computer networking, network security, and system administration to optimize our network architecture and support seamless communication systems. Your proactive approach will drive innovation and operational excellence in our network operations., * Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale enterprise networks with a focus on computer networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, SNMP.

  • Extensive knowledge of network security principles including SSO (Single Sign-On), encryption methods, vulnerability assessment tools like Splunk or SolarWinds; familiarity with cloud security best practices in AWS or Azure environments.
  • Strong background in system administration across multiple operating systems including Windows Server environments, Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS), UNIX variants (Solaris/BSD), macOS.
  • Hands-on experience configuring routing protocols and implementing high availability solutions for critical infrastructure components like SAN storage systems or data centers.
  • Skilled in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks; familiar with configuration management tools like Ansible or GPO for policy enforcement.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network issues involving equipment such as Cisco routers/switches, Juniper devices; proficient in using remote access software for diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication systems including VoIP technologies; experience supporting remote access solutions like SSH or SFTP for secure data transfer.
