Senior Network Administrator

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-wide network architecture including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), and SD-WAN solutions to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Configure and manage network devices such as Cisco routers, Juniper devices, Cisco ASA firewalls, and switches to support seamless connectivity across multiple sites.
• Implement and monitor network security protocols using tools like Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), firewall configurations, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), IPsec, and network access controls to safeguard organizational data.
• Oversee network management tasks including routing protocols like OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), and dynamic DNS updates.
• Conduct regular network monitoring using advanced tools to identify issues proactively, troubleshoot outages, and perform capacity planning for future growth.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, supporting cloud services on AWS and Azure environments.
• Develop scripting solutions using Python or Bash to automate routine tasks related to network administration and management.
• Lead network installation projects including hardware setup, configuration, testing, and documentation ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, policies, and procedures aligned with IT best practices.

• Extensive knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP; network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP; and security frameworks like Cisco ISE and firewalls such as Cisco ASA.
• Hands-on experience with VPN technologies including IPsec; load balancing solutions; SAN (Storage Area Network) management; and MPLS networks.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux/Unix distributions; virtualization platforms like VMware; cloud services including AWS and Azure; and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of network security principles including firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure remote access solutions.
• Ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex projects within an Agile environment following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they impact operations.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE (Cisco Certified Network Professional/Expert), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or equivalent are highly desirable.
