Senior NetSuite Developer

• Lead technical delivery on NetSuite implementations and customizations (SuiteScript, workflows, integrations, saved searches, SuiteFlow)
• Identify where AI can accelerate work-code generation, requirements analysis, test scaffolding, documentation, data migration-and build repeatable processes around it
• Translate client requirements into scoped, shippable solutions and drive them to completion
• Mentor team members on both NetSuite best practices and effective AI-assisted workflows
• Own quality: AI speeds the work, but you’re accountable for correct, maintainable output

We’re looking for a NetSuite developer who is also fluent in leveraging AI tools to dramatically compress delivery timelines. This isn’t a traditional dev seat. You’ll own technical execution across client projects while pioneering how we use AI (Claude, code assistants, agentic workflows) to ship faster without sacrificing quality. You’ll set the standard for what “AI-native NetSuite consulting” looks like., * 5-8 years of hands-on NetSuite development experience (SuiteScript 2.x), with at least 4 full-cycle implementations or major customization project in a lead role

• Demonstrated, daily use of AI tools in a real development workflow - code generation, debugging, refactoring, and documentation - with the judgment to know where AI helps and where it doesn’t
• Able to clearly explain how AI was applied to a given customization: what it accelerated, how output was validated, and where human review was required
• Comfortable designing AI-assisted approaches to client requests - using AI to scope faster, prototype solutions, and extend what’s achievable in NetSuite
• Strong platform fluency: custom records and fields, saved searches, SuiteFlow, Advanced PDF/HTML templates, roles and permissions
• Working knowledge across NetSuite functional areas (Finance, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory/Order Management) sufficient to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Able to run client engagements and technical meetings independently
• Interest in creating reusable development content - code patterns, prompts, internal tooling, and documentation
• Desire to grow into a technical partner role and lead the development side of the business
• Excellent written communication

• Experience building AI-powered tools or integrations
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI-assisted coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) at a level beyond casual use
• Experience defining AI usage standards, guardrails, or evaluation practices on a team
• SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and source-controlled deployments
• Integration experience: RESTlets, SuiteTalk, or middleware (Celigo, Boomi)
• NetSuite certifications: SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, or ERP Consultant
• Industry-specific experience (SaaS, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, services)
• Prior independent contractor experience
