Job description

An established and growing organization is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Information Technology to lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives and oversee all aspects of IT operations. This executive leader will play a key role in developing technology strategies that support business growth, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen cybersecurity across the organization.

This position is ideal for a leader who enjoys balancing high-level strategic planning with day-to-day operational leadership while building and developing a high-performing IT team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and technology operations.

Develop and execute the company’s long-term IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.

Oversee network infrastructure, cloud environments, servers, telecommunications, hardware, and software platforms.

Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all business systems through effective cybersecurity policies and risk management practices.

Lead IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.

Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and managed service providers.

Develop and manage departmental budgets while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team focused on service excellence and continuous improvement.

Establish IT policies, governance, disaster recovery, business continuity, and data protection strategies.

Partner with executive leadership to identify technology solutions that improve productivity, customer experience, and organizational performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

7+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including experience managing enterprise technology environments.

Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, ERP systems, business applications, and IT governance.

Experience leading large-scale technology implementations and digital transformation initiatives.

Proven success managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and cross-functional projects.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Experience developing and leading high-performing technical teams.
