Senior Backend Developer - Cape Town - Breda

Requirements

Must have:

- We require 6–9 years of relevant experience in backend development. - We require experience working remotely, and this role is fully remote from anywhere in South Africa. - We require experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services. - We require experience working in an English-speaking environment. - We require an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills. - We require experience developing backend systems. - We require experience in one or more of the following: Node.js, Java, Ruby, PHP, Python, etc. - We require the ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a single system. - Nice to have: knowledge of CI/CD practices. - Nice to have: familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities:

• We develop and support software, including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements. - We collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements. - We work with backend systems and related services to deliver our product effectively.
