Job description

You will own website design and build for our client portfolio. This is an end-to-end role: taking a client brief, designing something beautiful, and building it in WordPress to a standard you are proud to put your name on. Alongside builds, you will create the design and brand assets - graphics, landing pages, visual identities - that our clients buy as part of a wider marketing relationship.

Your work will not sit in isolation. Our SEO and PPC teams depend on the sites you build, so an understanding of marketing - how design serves search performance and conversion, not just aesthetics - is a real advantage here.

Healthcare is a highly regulated industry. Experience designing within healthcare or another regulated sector is preferred, though a disciplined, detail-first approach matters more than sector history.

What you will do

  • Design and build WordPress websites end-to-end for healthcare clients across the UK, Ireland and the US
  • Create graphics, brand assets and visual identities for clients and for our own upsell offering
  • Build high-converting landing pages in partnership with our SEO and PPC teams
  • Maintain and improve existing client sites: performance, responsiveness, accessibility
  • Work within healthcare advertising and regulatory constraints on claims and imagery
  • Bring AI-assisted design and build workflows into how we produce work

Requirements

  • 2+ years designing and building WordPress sites professionally: themes, page builders, and enough HTML/CSS to work cleanly beyond the builder
  • Strong design craft: layout, typography, brand consistency, and current design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalents)
  • Excellent attention to detail - you ship work that does not need checking twice
  • Marketing awareness: you understand that client sites exist to rank and convert, and design accordingly
  • Self-managing: able to run multiple client projects without daily direction

Nice to have

  • Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry
  • SEO fundamentals: site structure, page speed, on-page basics
  • Photography, videography or motion graphics skills, which are services we already offer clients
  • PHP/JavaScript beyond the basics
