About the company

bear IT are a forward thinking Managed Services provider, delivering professional support with a personal touch to businesses across the country. We have an opportunity for an experienced IT Helpdesk Technician to join our dedicated team.

Working from our office on Nottingham, you will be providing telephone and remote MSP client support to over 1000 users across a wide range of small and medium sized businesses.

As an integral part of our small business, this helpdesk role offers varied and interesting work, with excellent opportunities to develop skills and learn new technologies in a close knit, collaborative environment.

Flexibility is vital in this role. Rather than focusing on defining 1st, 2nd, 3rd line, we use great communication, teamwork and common sense to respond to the varying needs of our clients. This approach enables us to achieve the highest standards of customer service and also creates a great working environment and the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills.

We have a mature technology stack with a Microsoft 365 heavy core and established Managed Ubiquiti and Draytek network infrastructure., Established in 2002, bear IT has grown organically over the years, building a relationship based business, where referrals and recommendations from our existing customers provide much of our new business. We describe ourselves as a modern Managed Services Provider that upholds traditional business values.

In a time where remote working is ever more popular and relationships are more often digital, we still appreciate the benefits of the personal touch. Our team uses names, not ticket numbers and we like to catch up regularly with our customers - not just when they have a problem to be helped with!

Offering leading products and solutions, whilst really caring for our customers keeps us on top of our game and enjoying our work too!
