Job description

This is an entry-level IT support position with real training and a real growth path. You’ll be the first line of defense for hardware and basic tech issues across our office - setting up workstations, fixing headsets and webcams, onboarding new users, and working with software vendors’ support teams when issues need escalation.

You don’t need years of experience. You need to be genuinely comfortable with computer hardware, curious about how systems work, and reliable enough to own the small stuff so our senior technical staff can focus on the big stuff. Just as important: we want someone with the aptitude and interest to learn our CRM. Our entire operation runs on Zoho One, and as you prove yourself we’ll train you on the platform, its automations, and its integrations - skills that can carry you into a senior technical role here as we grow.

This is a good fit if you:

Are the person friends and family already call when their computer acts up

Like fixing physical things - swapping parts, running cables, diagnosing why a webcam won’t connect

Have patience for troubleshooting and for sitting on support calls until the problem is actually solved

Want an employer that will invest in training you, not just hand you a ticket queue

What You’ll Do

Set up and image new computers and workstations for employees

Troubleshoot and repair office hardware - headsets, webcams, monitors, printers, docks, and peripherals

Handle first-tier IT tasks: adding new user accounts, resetting passwords, managing basic access

Call into vendor support channels (Zoho, RingCentral, and others) and see issues through to resolution

Keep hardware inventory organized and workstations ready for new hires

Document fixes and procedures so problems get easier to solve the second time

Learn our Zoho One environment over time, taking on more platform and automation work as you develop

Requirements

Required:

Solid hands-on literacy with computer hardware - you can confidently set up a PC, connect and configure peripherals, and diagnose common hardware failures

Basic Windows troubleshooting skills (drivers, updates, connectivity, audio/video issues)

Strong organizational skills - you track your tickets, tasks, and inventory without being chased

Clear communication - you can explain a problem to a vendor’s support rep and follow their instructions accurately

Reliability and follow-through - issues get tracked to done, not just tried once

Willingness and aptitude to learn our CRM platform (Zoho One) - this is central to your growth in the role

Ability to work in-office in Dawsonville, GA, Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM EST

Nice to Have (not required):

CRM experience - Zoho in particular, but Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar also counts

Exposure to workflow automation platforms such as Zapier, Zoho Flow, n8n, or Make - even personal or hobby projects

Experience using AI tools (chat assistants, AI-assisted troubleshooting or scripting) in real work or projects

A knack for logic and critical thinking - you reason through problems step by step instead of guessing

Any scripting or programming exposure (JavaScript, Python, Deluge, etc.)

Prior help desk, IT support, retail tech (e.g., Geek Squad), or A/V experience

CompTIA A+ or similar certification, completed or in progress
