Computer Technician

Billings Tech Guys is looking to grow their team. As a Computer Technician, you are prepared to repair any computer issue for customers when they arrive at our location. You will have the ability to make repairs while delivering a high level of service to our customers. This is a growing team environment and an opportunity to be a part of a store growth plan - offers real potential for the right candidate., Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software

• Provide technical support to end-users in person, over the phone, or via remote access
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Set up and maintain computer networks, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and virus scans
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operation of computer systems
• Document all technical procedures and solutions for future reference

Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Computer Technician or in a similar role

• Proficient in Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with help desk ticketing systems
• Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
• Understanding of computer networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Familiarity with Mac OS
