SR Quality Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to support the implementation of the QMS at SC manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System while leading problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. This role serves as the technical quality expert for ISO 9001, CAPA, root cause analysis, audits, quality planning, and process improvements.

• Lead implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Develop and maintain:
• Procedures
• Work instructions
• Process maps
• Quality records
• Document control systems
• Support management review activities.
• Maintain quality metrics and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement of the QMS.
• Audits and Compliance
• Plan and conduct internal audits.
• Support external certification audits.
• Participate in customer audits.
• Coordinate corrective actions from audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements.
• Problem Solving and CAPA
• Lead root cause investigations using:
• 8D
• 5 Why
• Fishbone
• Pareto
• FMEA
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving teams.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Manage CAPA activities.
• Quality Planning
• Develop:
• Control Plans
• Inspection Plans
• PFMEA
• Process Flow Diagrams
• Support new product introduction and process launches.
• Assist with supplier quality activities.
• Continuous Improvement
• Analyze quality trends and data.
• Lead improvement projects.
• Reduce defects and improve process capability.
• Support operational excellence initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
• Experience implementing or maintaining a QMS.
• Strong problem-solving background.
• Experience leading audits and CAPA activities., * ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Experience supporting ISO certification.
• Experience with new plant launches.
• HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment experience preferred., * ISO 9001 implementation
