Operations Technology Manager - Systems and Innovations

We are seeking a highly analytical and technology-driven Operations Technology & AI Manager to lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of the systems that power our business.

This role is responsible for identifying opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and modern business software to improve operational efficiency across the organization. You’ll work closely with leadership to streamline workflows, oversee software implementations and integrations, manage technology vendors, and ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and well documented.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, test, and implement AI tools that improve productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance business operations.
• Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities to eliminate inefficiencies through automation and process improvement.
• Lead software implementations and oversee integrations between critical business systems.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide leadership with actionable business insights.
• Manage relationships with software vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure technology platforms continue to meet business needs.
• Lead automation initiatives from concept through deployment, reducing manual work and increasing operational efficiency.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new software solutions that improve scalability and support company growth.
• Oversee technology security, user permissions, software governance, and system compliance.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation, standard operating procedures, and system guides for all business applications.
• Partner with department leaders to identify technology opportunities that improve collaboration, productivity, and overall business performance.

• 5+ years of experience in operations technology, business systems, automation, digital transformation, or a related role.
• Successfully led 3 or more software implementations, major system integrations, or organization-wide technology projects.
• Demonstrated experience implementing automation initiatives that resulted in measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, or cost savings.
• Hands-on experience evaluating and deploying AI tools, workflow automation platforms, and cloud-based business applications.
• Experience managing an organization’s software ecosystem and maintaining relationships with multiple technology vendors.
• Proven ability to build executive dashboards and reporting systems that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Strong understanding of business process mapping, workflow optimization, and systems documentation.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, access controls, software governance, and technology risk management.
• Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines and business objectives.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with experience working directly with executives, department leaders, and non-technical stakeholders., * Associate (Required), * operations technology or related: 5 years (Required)
