Job description

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll build modern applications that communicate with automated equipment used in agricultural research. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams, contribute to product design discussions, and develop scalable software solutions using modern web technologies., * Develop full stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React

  • Build applications that communicate with automated agricultural machinery
  • Design and develop relational databases
  • Write optimized SQL queries
  • Develop and maintain JSON-based APIs
  • Participate in product design and technical planning
  • Debug, test, and enhance software applications
  • Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Support deployment and ongoing software improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and R&D teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
  • At least 2 years of experience developing with JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Strong experience with:
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • React
  • SQL query development
  • Relational database design
  • JSON API development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Urbandale, IA
  • Ability to work the seasonal 2nd shift schedule (11:00 AM - 8:00 PM) from February through May

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Git
  • GitHub Actions
  • Docker
  • Continuous Integration (CI/CD) tools
  • Automated systems or industrial software development

Benefits & conditions

This is a minimum 12-month W2 contract with strong potential for extension. Benefits and paid time off (PTO) are available., * $80.00-$87.00 per hour (W2)
