Job description

We are looking for an experienced Backend API Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend development, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and API integration., * Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.

Build scalable and secure microservices using modern backend technologies.
Integrate APIs with databases, cloud platforms, and third-party applications.
Optimize API performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile development activities.

Requirements

5+ years of backend development experience.
Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI/Flask), or Node.js.
Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and API security best practices.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
