Job description

You will join the tribe Enterprise Content & Automation with the focus on content analytics. As an NLP data scientist/ML engineer, you translate business needs into technical solutions by preprocessing and analyzing data, building machine learning models, and deploying text and image-based systems that automate workflows and extract insights from large unstructured datasets.

The team

In our team you will get a lot of personal responsibility and freedom to develop models and solutions, while also providing an environment to share your skills and learnings with others. Trying out new initiatives is highly encouraged.

Roles and responsibilities

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple ML projects, ranging from prototyping to production
  • Communicate with stakeholders, explaining how the latest model will transform a key business process
  • Build and maintain CI/CD and training pipelines
  • Monitor deployed models, reviewing SLIs/SLOs and resolving data quality or performance issues

Requirements

We hire smart people like you for your potential. Our biggest expectation is that you’ll stay curious. Keep learning. Take on responsibility. In return, we’ll back you to develop into an even more awesome version of yourself.

  • A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience with but not limited to Python and contributing to production machine learning systems
  • Understanding of ML and GenAI fundamentals (e.g., supervised learning, evaluation metrics, overfitting/underfitting, regularization, embeddings, tokenization, transformers)
  • Ability to manipulate structured and unstructured data
  • Proficiency in common ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Familiarity with Git, code reviews, testing, and debugging in a collaborative environment. Experience with GCP is a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Dutch is a plus

Benefits & conditions

We want to make sure that it’s possible for you to strike the right balance between your career and your private life. Find out more about our employment conditions. (opens in new window)
