Job description
Our client, a growing IT consulting company is seeking a Project Engagement Lead Consultant to serve as the primary client-facing contact for ERP and IT implementation projects.
This position is responsible for understanding client business needs, leading project planning and execution, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with clients while managing multiple projects in a collaborative environment., * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct initial client assessments and gather business requirements
- Develop project plans, manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources
- Coordinate project execution with technical teams and stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports
- Prepare and maintain project documentation
Business & ERP Consulting
- Analyze business processes and recommend IT/ERP solutions
- Provide business consulting and ERP implementation support
- Ensure project deliverables align with client business objectives
- Support project governance, issue resolution, and escalation management
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams, partners, and clients
- Participate in company training programs
- Contribute to process improvements and service quality initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Consulting, or Project Engagement within an IT environment
- Experience managing ERP implementation or other professional service projects
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and/or third-party vendors
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into project plans
- Business-level Japanese and English communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or similar
- Knowledge of accounting, operations, or manufacturing business processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
